RV Manufacturer Sued for Failure to Warn

Frivolous lawsuit

The owner-operator of a new recreational vehicle crashed and injured himself. He then filed suit against the manufacturer. The owner said he was driving on an expressway and decided to walk to the rear of the RV to get a cup of coffee. To do so, he put the vehicle in “drive” and left his seat.  Consequently, the driverless vehicle ran off the road and overturned.  He claimed in his suit that the manufacturer failed to provide a warning that automatic drive didn’t mean the RV could drive “automatically.”
